Gorgeous, beautiful & chilly stay!

The property was secluded and peaceful, with gorgeous views. Inside was clean and tidy with some wonderful small additions to make our stay more cosy. Wifi was good, and bed large and comfortable.

The gas central heating was a gas heater that needed to be monitored whilst on, and couldn’t be left unattended or on whilst we slept. This meant that in -5° weather, it became rather chilly overnight! It was also rather difficult cook hot meals, as the only cooking facilities are one gas hob which was also how you boiled water. We managed, but it was a struggle!

Amazing! Lived every second! So grateful 🩷

The hosts were amazing! The views were beautiful, we had a little welcome basket which was so kind! The hut was clean and cosy, towels were super fluffy, not too close but not too far from the town and beach, it had a bike hut and a sauna. The whole experience was amazing and we were so lucky to be able to stay here! Thankyou so much x

When the satnav takes us to Henley’s…. Please know that the hut is two houses to the right of Henley’s lol 😂

Nice for a short stay

Location was excellent

Lack of drinking water was a major issue. Cooking utensils were inadequate and only one gas ring to cook on.

Gem of a place! :)

The place was everything you could want in a shepards hut and more! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The little touches like the dog bowl and treats went down really well. It was extremely clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Waking up to the peace and tranquillity and the views was just what was needed.

The only thing was the sensor lights inside the hut would occasionally go off during the night if you moved in bed but not all the time. However, this did not ruin our sleep. As soon as the lights were off, we were straight off again as the bed, duvet, and pillows were super comfortable.
