About this house rental
Detached, spacious family house with surrounding garden on 744 square metres of land with approx. 140 square metres of south-facing living space on 2 levels (ground floor, first floor). High-quality parquet floors. 2 bright renovated bathrooms + guest WC. Spacious 16 square metre terrace facing south. Well-grown garden with small pond. Carport. Non-smoking house.
Short distances to Munich and the Five Lakes Region (Ammersee, Starnberger See, Wörthsee etc.). Direct S-Bahn connection (S4) to Munich - approx. 35 min. to Munich main station.
Room layout ground floor: solid wood fitted kitchen with fridge and dishwasher, large bright living/dining area facing south (approx. 34 sqm), brick tiled stove with large viewing window, bathroom with shower, separate WC, Finnish sauna for two persons, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Beautiful south-facing terrace. Satellite TV and free WLAN.
First floor: 2 double rooms, 1 single room + large bathroom with bath/shower, WC.
A deposit of 250 € is payable on arrival for the furnishings and equipment, which will of course be refunded on departure and handover in flawless condition.

Rented here for my family to visit me during the birth of our first child. The Host speaks fluent English & German which is a plus. The house was clean and had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. My family especially enjoyed the decor attributing it to a comfy countryside or rustic vibe. Very warming. Communication was excellent and Mr. Joachim worked with us to make the check-in & check-out convenient and simple. Location is near a bus that can get you to the S-Bahn. It’s a bit of a ways to get to the MUC airport (approximately just under 2 hours) but it’s easy connections. My family opted to rent a car and parking was very convenient. Instructions are clear and I would book this place again for friends and family that visit me as well as highly recommend this home.

We loved the beautiful town of Schöngeising. Very nice and comfortable house. It has everything you need for a nice holiday. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy to catch public transportation. A nice walk to the S-Bahn but it wasn’t bad. Very nice host and very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place.

Overall a great property in a very good location. We were missing some items in the kitchen, oven-mitts, more cutlery (only 2 large forks?). Appliances are aged but functional, OK for a rental-property. Maybe some entertainment for those rainy evenings, a radio, a bluetooth speaker, some board-games? Thanks for a great stay though, we would come back.

The place was clean. Had the beds and bathrooms that the 3 of us needed and it was for the most part comfortable. The owner was responsive and prompt when we met at check in and check out. There were a couple of things that we suggested to him. He needs screens on the windows to stop bugs and birds from coming in. Fans would have helped circulate the air and cool things off too. The tub and shower need a mat to prevent slipping. We used a bath mat towel so we were safe. He only gave us 3 bath towels and 3 hand towels for 3 adults staying 3 nights. We made it work.
