About this farm stay rental
The Farmhouse at Solsgirth Home Farm is a lovely converted farmhouse sleeping up to ten guests. There is plenty of room for families or groups to spread out indoors and out, including paths around the working farm, which features rhea, emu and llama, as well as traditional pig, cattle and sheep breeds. A short drive away are fantastic walks in the hills or along the coast, with several Scottish cities within one hour's drive.

We had a great three generational family weekend away at the Solgirth farmhouse. Lovely host, lovely well equipped house. Beautiful scenery too.

We booked solsgirth farmhouse for the weekend with the whole family to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday, I would highly recommend this to anybody considering booking, DO IT!
Communication was amazing, whether it was a phonecall, text or email, replies were quick and nothing was a hassle, thank you Leigh.
Has everything you would need for the weekend, we were lucky enough to have the market on during our stay, deffo worth a look round.

We had a wonderful time at Solsgirth Home Farm. We stayed in the farm house. The kids and grownups loved the farm tour and meeting all the wonderful animals. The farm is so green and picturesque. The house was a great size with lots of space. The family also loved the outdoor wood fired spa bath. I wished we lived closer so we could stay again soon.

There were six of us staying for a week at Home Farm. The house has been beautifully renovated and the welcome basket was lovely. We were made to feel very welcome by Leigh and we enjoyed the extra treat of a wood fired hot tub! The farm visit, if you can arrange one, was great and we enjoyed watching the gaggle of ducks and two geese who think they are ducks, wandering around the property. The house is very quiet and it is a great location for exploring the local countryside. Stirling is not far away and we even had a day at St Andrews while two of us played golf on the Old Links. Our family stretches back to at least the 1700's working on the farm and surrounding farms which made it extra extra special to stay! We will be recommending to our relatives!
