L-Seven Hotel

I booked this hotel via Agoda because it was not listed on *** and I couldn’t find an official hotel website. We booked a Deluxe Room for a couple, which was slightly more expensive than the Superior Room, specifically because Agoda’s listing stated that the Deluxe room included a balcony, city view, and Netflix on the TV. We also requested to be on the highest floor possible to minimise outside and traffic noise. However, upon check-in, we were informed that the Deluxe room does NOT have a balcony at all, and that only the Superior rooms have balconies. This was never clearly stated on Agoda and was very misleading. After questioning this, staff explained that: - Superior rooms are on one side of the building and have balconies, but they face directly into another building with very limited view. - Deluxe rooms are on the opposite side of the building, have no balcony, but are marketed as “city view”. Because having a balcony was important to us, we agreed to switch to a Superior room, but were not offered any partial refund, despite the Deluxe room being more expensive. Once in the Superior room, we discovered additional differences: - No minibar - No tea or coffee facilities - Only 4 bottles of water Meanwhile, the Deluxe room we initially saw had a minibar and nicely prepared towels on the bed. This wasn’t a deal-breaker for us, but it’s worth noting for others. Other disappointments: - The TV only had Chinese channels via satellite — there were no Thai channels, no Netflix, and no YouTube, despite Agoda stating otherwise. We didn’t use the TV at all. - The air conditioning was from an uncommon brand and felt poorly adjustable. Fan mode and cooling mode felt almost the same, and even on low fan speed it was quite loud, especially compared to brands like Mitsubishi or Daikin. As someone who prefers gentler airflow while sleeping, this was uncomfortable. - The elevators have no door sensors. I nearly got caught by the doors multiple times, which felt unsafe every time I used them. - Most concerning, I found a cockroach in the bathroom when I woke up to use it. This was unpleasant and raised concerns about cleanliness. On the positive side: - Standard toiletries were provided. - The towels were nice and soft. - International power outlets. - The location is good — about 5-6 minutes’ walk to the MRT and 7-Eleven, and plenty of food nearby. - A 24-hour golf cart service is available if you don’t feel like walking, which was convenient. Final thoughts: The stay itself was acceptable, but the misleading Agoda listing, combined with room compromises, safety concerns, cleanliness issues, and the lack of any Thai atmosphere, significantly impacted our experience. If you are booking specifically for a balcony, city view, Netflix, or a Thai hotel experience, I strongly recommend confirming these details directly with the hotel before booking, especially if using Agoda.

Big comfortable bed. Clean Room. Great staff. Good location. Cute lion.

Newly renovated hotel. Not far from metro and got buggy provided. Room is clean. The restaurant has two lions for petting.

Couldn’t have been any better of an experience, no problems and attentive staff!
