Nias Frank Accomodation

Frank and his family are so warm, welcoming and kind. The location couldn’t be more perfect - the view was stunning, plus a minute’s walk from the local restaurants (which are very good). The only noise is from the ocean and the occasional dog. The bed and pillows were wonderful! The bed linen was clean. Towels are available on request though you might need to ask twice to get a good towel.

It is clean enough but it really does need a good clean to actually be considered clean, e.g. debris under the bed, cobwebs, the bathroom floor needs a good scrub. The hammock could do with a wash too. The balcony is great and has a couple of chairs and a table - it’s rickety (actually quite charming) but you do share it with other guests and it seems that everyone smokes - right outside your bedroom. The WiFi is patchy but that might just be the end room where I was as there were a couple of digital nomads working further along. This is NOT a criticism, it’s a heads up: there is no sink in the bathroom (you have to use the bum gun or the shower to wash); there is no top sheet for the bed, so pack a sarong or similar. This is a great little good value for money place to stay in an amazing location.

We had the best time with the Wau family! Such amazing people and great hospitality - always had great chats with Frank and Titus. The location is as good as it gets with a view of the spot and a minute walk from the keyhole. Our room had everything we needed. We would come back for sure!

The rooms are very clean and well kept. The location is ideal, giving us a direct view of the wave.
