Awesome location and super nice family running the place!! Awesome food. And the shop is right out the front
No flushing toilets. And bathroom was pretty grim. Dirty and smelly. Got used to it after a couple of days and a lot of places in the bay don’t have flushing toilets so it’s about on par.

Such a lovely accomodation owned by the nicest local family, they’ve been hosting guests for over 20 years. They’re super knowledgeable about this area of Nias, the surrounding businesses and the local surf community. Location is amazing for watching the surf …. Great food especially Ivo’s speciality BBQ’s ….. Awesome coffee …. Big air conditioned private rooms. The family goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I really enjoyed my time at shady palms, highly recommend. Great value for the price!
