Great location for discovering the local area. Very comfy and had everything you need. A real home from home.

Liked the layout and the quirky building from its history. Leaving us milk and biscuits was nice. It was good to be able to walk from the door. The handy Co-op was good.
The noise from traffic and the church bells. Why do the chimes start as early as 5.15? The offer of use of the garden was nice but it's a bit far away.

Excellent location, beautiful cosy cottage, everything you needed for a perfect stay.
Walking distance to three lovely pubs. Lots of walks to nearby villages, Castleton being a favourite of ours.
