Adorable, quaint and cozy cottage

Quaint, cozy and private. Short distance to Svolvaer and a couple hours drive to Reine and A. Hostess had homemade bread rolls for us upon our arrival. Chanette was very responsive, attentive and accommodating.

Nothing at all to dislike. Some things though to consider: - upstairs bedroom in the loft may be challenging for some to access as the stairs are more of a ladder. The door way and ceiling in the room are very low and you need to be mindful to not hit your head. - Might be helpful to have some instructions on how to operate electronics (washer, oven/stove) especially for those of us not from Europe. We managed just fine with assistance from google but the hostess would have been more than willing to come help out but we did not want to disturb them.

Awesome , live the house for its history !

The property was very well equipped with all the amenities. It had comfortable beds and hosts were really nice and friendly. They hade kept us homemade bread which was really soft . We even saw northern lights from this place .

Nothing per se but if I have to point out the property didn’t have a microwave which might bother a few . The apartment has stairs and they are narrow which someone might find difficult and the house is a little tilted so you occasionally feel like fainting or misbalanced.

Wow – was für ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! 🌟 Die Hütte ist ein echtes Schmuckstück: über 100 Jahre alt, voller Geschichte und Charme. Man spürt sofort, dass sie ihre eigene Seele hat. Manche Türen und Fenster sind so alt, dass man sie nicht mehr öffnen kann und sollte – und genau das macht die Originalität und den besonderen Charakter aus. Chanette, unsere Gastgeberin, war einfach großartig! Super herzlich, immer hilfsbereit und mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Drinnen findet man wirklich alles, was man braucht: eine komplett ausgestattete Küche, Holz zum Heizen, einen wunderschönen alten Holzofen, warme Socken für gemütliche Abende und sogar ein kleines Büchlein mit der Geschichte der Hütte – so liebevoll! Und das absolute Highlight: Wir konnten direkt hinter dem Haus die Polarlichter bestaunen! 🌌✨ Wer eine Unterkunft mit richtig viel Charme und Herz sucht, ist hier goldrichtig.

Eine sehr schöne, gemütliche Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ästhetisch eingerichtet. Dadurch haben wir uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ( Küche, Waschmaschine, Kamin) lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hat uns die Terrasse gefallen. Sie ist nach Osten ausgerichtet so dass wir auch Ende August noch im Sonnenschein zu Abend essen konnten.
