When the windows are open the traffic noise is terrible but less so at night, although I would recommend ear plugs.

We had a kind welcome. The appartment was cosy and well equiped with a nice view over the town and Plazza Palermo.
Unfortunately there was an open market on Monday morning at Plazza Palermo. We had to park our car on a street nearby and paid the stay until 9am. It was impossible to find a parking place further. On monday morning our car was taken away by the Police - impounded and it costed us 240 eur to recover it from Italo Garage 30 mn away.
