Corfu Lake Oasis

Чисто, удобно, много добре заредено с прибори, уреди. Климатик, топла вода винаги. Градина и кът за кафе навън. Има магазин наблизо и спирка на автобус. Тихо и спокойно място.

Леглото скърца при всяко помръдване. Когато има много хора в съседните имоти, се чува много през стените. На партер е. Ако ви дразни силен шум - не е за вас, самолетите кацат и излитат на 200 м от мястото. На мен ми хареса - красиво е, но не е за всеки.

- First of all, as amateur plane spotters, we reveled in the opportunity to see so many planes land and take off. The view was not perfect as it was obstructed by some trees and foliage, but still, we got to see plenty of planes. - The place itself was very spacious so no issues there. - The bathroom had a bath tub which is something we appreciate. And the bathroom even had a washing machine, which we did not use but it's a nice plus. - The kitchenette was ok. Had a big fridge, plenty of cups and plates and most of everything you would need. Tried to use the mini oven but it did not seem to work. Did not try out the induction plates. - There is a small supermarket fairly close, right next to the entrance on the secondary road that leads to the house. And the bus station is there as well. - Very close to the airport, 8 minutes by car. There are sufficient free parking spaces at the location.

- The big elephant in the room is of course the noise associated with being very close to the airport. Some planes were noisier than others. They stop around midnight to 1 AM and start around 5:30 to 6 AM. I wouldn't say we had issues sleeping, but our trip was such that we almost exclusively slept while the planes were not active. Even so, we were able to sleep during plane activity as well. But if you're a light sleeper you might have issues. - The price for the place is high due to proximity to Corfu and the airport, but the same proximity leading to the constant noise should help lower the price a bit as well. We've travelled quite a bit and Corfu is on spot 6 of our most expensive accommodations per night and that's counting the Maldives and really expensive accommodations in Ireland too. - Considering our flight came in at 7 AM we were hoping for a bit more accommodation in terms of earlier check in which normally started at 3 PM. We got in half an hour early. I guess not much can be done about that since it depends on the previous tenants leaving as well. Although, considering check-out is at 11 AM, we feel like more could have been done in that regard. But again, policy says 3 PM so this is more of a silent gripe. - The secondary road to the location is unpaved and with holes here and there, so drive carefully.
