Wilderness haven cottage at Havulampi Pond

The old buildings with their own yards exude a village-like atmosphere reminiscent of the early 1900s, set amidst the surrounding wilderness. The cozy interior also respects and features old furniture, objects, and textiles. The self-service cabins are designed with biodiversity in mind, offering tenants biodegradable detergents and opportunities for waste sorting. The farm is powered by a solar energy electricity contract. You can comfortably explore the diverse nature of Lamminkangas by following the trails and paths marked on the map available at the cabin. 90 km northwest of Jyväskylä, pond Havulampi 350 m (length 0.6 km, width 0.3 km), with a deep muddy bottom, pier, and a private boat. Pond Havulampi has an area of 7 hectares, with a depth of over 9 meters at the center, and is a clean, dark-water pond. The shore has a pier and a rowing boat. The bottom is muddy and deepens quickly. The beach name is Tervastanhua. There is no settlement on the opposite shore. The wooden cabin features a dining hall and a living room/kitchen. There is one bedroom with a double bed, the bathroom has a WC and shower cubicle. The loft, accessed via steep, narrow ladder-like stairs, includes sofas and a double bed. On the upper level of the loft, there is a cozy sleeping area with three floor mattresses. The loft does not have heating. The cabin is also equipped with a large, glazed living area with space for lounging and dining. In the yard, there is a separate wood-heated sauna by a small grassy pond. Water for the sauna is carried from the pond, and the sauna has electric lighting. At the shore, 350 meters from the cabin, there is a separate sauna with a wood-heated stove, where water is carried from the lake. The sauna does not have electric lighting. Additionally, there is a small separate building with a dressing room and a bunk bed. These beds are optional, but the maximum accommodation capacity is still 7 people. This holiday destination is available from 17:00 on the arrival day until 11:00 on the day of departure.
