Le Duplex - Hyper Centre-Ville - 6 voyageurs

Host/ Hostess is responsive. Location is great. 1-2 mins walk to Republique. 6-7 mins walk to Le Mans train station. Checkin key pickup is from a location (5 mins uber) away but it is understandable as apparently lockboxes are vandalized near le mans train station. Bedroom sizes are appropriate. Nice of host to provide us with floor fans in summer heat. No ac. Kitchen well stocked. Carrefour 5 mins walk. Old town is a 5 mins walk. Plenty of restaurants across the street in a open mall setting. Felt safe. Not noisy at all. Washing machine is reasonably well sized. Can wash 8-10 clothes at a time.

3 wash basins of which 1 is extremely small cannot wash hands or brush teeth. 2nd wash basin is small too but can at least barely brush teeth & wash hands. Staircase is narrow. Its on 2nd floor but staircase is 3 stories high. Cannot carry a 50 lbs checked in bag up & down the stairs. Had to reduce luggage right at ground floor before going upstairs. Very inconvenient. Key is weird too. One has to use the key to lock apartment from inside. If you leave some family members back in the apartment they have to use the key to lock from inside. While coming in the family member has to come down to open the 2nd entry door downstairs. Solution - give 2 keys or have a latch from inside which doesnt need to use a key. Its weird locking folks inside if 1/2 the family wants to go out. How will the folks inside step out if apt is locked and folks inside dont have a key to unlock ? Anyways its a simple solution extra keys or lock/ bolt from inside. Apartment is old’ish but pretty convenient otherwise.

Très bel appartement en duplex, très bien entretenu et super bien équipé ! Très agréable à vivre et décoré avec goût.

Juste petit bémol pour les clés ; c'est compliqué de les récupérer si vous arrivez en train..il vaut mieux avoir une voiture. On les récupère à 1km du logement..donc à pied... Par contre pour faciliter la remise au départ la propriétaire propose une solution très appréciable.

Logement spacieux pour 5-6 personnes 👍 Idéalement situé à côté de la place de la République. Suffisamment équipé.

Devoir aller chercher les clés loin du logement. Oreillers trop épais.

Emplacement idylique. Très calme malgré situation en hyper centre. Magnifique appartement parfaitement sécurisé.
