Kohde sijaitsee kauniin Kymijoen varrella, jonka rauha ja maisemat ovat tuttua ja toimivaksi todettua Järvi-Suomea. Venue on siis aivan ensiluokkainen. Majoituksella oli kaksi jääkaappia, kaksi grilliä (kaasu-ja hiili) ja jopa kaksi WC-tilaa. Hutin sai mukavan viileäksi kesähelteelläkin ilmastointilaitteen avulla. Kaikki oli siistiä ja valmiiksi ajateltua vieraita varten. Jääkaapeissa oli tullessa juomavedet valmiina ja jopa kaksi vissyäkin! Erikoistoiveena pyysin pientä pöytää ruokailua varten, joka oli muistettu. Saunarakennus oli siisti ja tunnelmallinen, jonka saunan ikkunasta sai ihailla järvimaisemaa.
Hutin sänky jäi pariskunnalle auttamatta liian pieneksi ja ahtaaksi, tämä toki ymmärrettävää ”veneessä”. Majoituksessa voisi olla jokin katos/suoja/pergola/markiisi sateiden yllättäessä. Meillä oli loman aikana hieno kesäsää, mutta sateen yllättäessä ei suojaa ole hutin lisäksi. Hutin ikkunat olivat likaiset.
