A hidden jewel tucked away in the woods and right next to a beautiful lake. An owl flew by our car on the way there and the starry night sky was amazing. We went in autumn.
It's quiet, with an outside fireplace, picknic table, porch and hammock. The outhouse is in the woods next to the hut.
There is another house up the road but no one was there.
The furnishings are a bit worn and grubby. But I appreciated the authentic feel.

Olin mökissä Hiidenhirvi. Sijaitsee keskellä ei mitään, kauniilla järven rannalla. Ei ollut ketään ympärillä. On hieno pieni lahti, hyvä meloa. Oli helppo laittaa kajakki veteen ja mennä katsomaan järviä. Sauna oli tosi hyvä. Paikka on rauhallinen ja hyvä olla luonnon kanssa.
Ei ollut liian suuria odotuksia, siksi kaikki oli miellyttävää.

Finnish nature feels amazing - endless forests, mirror-still lakes, and soft northern light coming together in a calm that gently restores the soul.
The host’s communication was appallingly poor, riddled with miscommunication and hidden facts, making the entire experience frustrating and one I would absolutely not recommend to anyone. Just because of that - would recommend to choose other option, and there are plenty!
