Really loved my stay at HIPPO Hostel! The hostel is clean, cozy and great value for money. The volunteers are amazing, super friendly and always ready to help. The little coffees and cakes/puddings are delicious, and the rooftop terrace is a lovely bonus! ☕🍰 The location is also great, just a short walk from Tsuruhashi Station and close to Korea Town. A warm, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!

I stayed in a single room and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and quality.
Unfortunately, the room was very noisy. You can hear the elevator every time it is used, as well as people walking and talking on the floor. In the morning, the cleaning noise (doors opening and closing) is also quite noticeable. It would be great if the hostel could improve the sound insulation.
In addition, the staff (especially the ladies) could be more professional and welcoming.
