Cozy, scenic and a great stay

Really comfy place with amazing views. We arrived on a day in winter with heavy rain, and when we walked in, we immediately felt like home! The host was very responsive and considerate, and have set up everything we need for us (e.g. guide to nearby attractions, wifi passwords etc). It was just a perfect start to our trip. We LOVED the fact there were 3 bedrooms, all with super comfortable beds - we all had the BEST sleep scores ever for a week ! The accommodation is at the very end of a cove and the views spectacular ! phenomenal to wake up to rolling green hills, a pond, cattle in the background. The house was so practical - wonderful powerful shower, amazing kitchen facilities - freezer. fridge, over, gas stove, microwave. Fabulous washing machine and dryer ! Everything worked perfectly. Great outdoor setting BBQ, lounge chair. JUST PERFECT ! Its a walk to the local bakery, butcher, supermarket and close to Mangawhai heads beach, walks and easy drive to the golf courses including Tara Ita. The host is so lovely.

Clean, warm, modern, relaxing & quiet location yet so close to shops, etc We took bikes so it was the perfect base to go exploring by bike.

A perfect getaway!

An immaculate, modern, quiet property, this home exceeded our expectations. We've stayed in many places in Mangwhai over the years, but this is our favourite! Located down a quiet cul de sac, with an unexpected, beautiful rural outlook, we were within easy walking distance of Bennetts Cafe, the Saturday markets, shops and so much more. Three bedooms, with air con in the larger room and in the main areas as well, we slept so well. Everything was spotless, with everything you could need, including a very well equipped kitchen and laundry.

Beautiful home, excellent location with close access to beaches and both Mangawhai farmers markets

We were quite surprised at the end of the stay when there was a power outage. But the host had provided a camping lamp and gave quick responses when we messaged about it.

Thuiskomen!

Je voelt aan alles in dit huis dat het van hoge kwaliteit is. Niet alleen aan de ontzettend ruime indeling, maar ook de details. Grondlampje bij de deur, schone hanglampen, overvloed aan keukengerei en zeepjes, wasmiddel en vaatwasblokjes. Je ziet dat er aandacht is voor leefgemak en dat voel je als je hier bent. Je komt thuis. We zouden dit huis ook graag zelf thuis hebben.

Misschien een paar grotere braadpannen. Deze vallen bijna uit elkaar. Maar verder is er werkelijk niets aan te merken!
