Accommodation with all amenities in an authentic farmstead.

A room with all amenities in an authentic farmstead. Roosters and hens walk in the yard, cats bask on the roof. In the evening, the flock of sheep is led to the barn, accompanied by the ringing of a bell. The hosts were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. The room was spacious and comfortable enough. There were 4 rooms side-by-side in the guesthouse and a long balcony in front of the rooms. There are also 4 rooms on the other side of the house with a view of the olive grove. There is a restaurant in the courtyard which seemed quite popular. The meals were good, including breakfast. It is suitable for anyone who loves authentic country life and local food.

Perfect place to relax

Very friendly staff. Good traditional food, including pomegranate juice and olives from the farm and of course the wine from the vineyard. Its location is remote and therefore very quite. Perfect to relax. Also a good place is you like animals. There are chickens and sheep walking around the property giving it a nice farm feel. While writing this review I just saw a turtle passing by.

Location is far away from civilization, so it should be a quiet place. But it was very loud during the night due to different reasons (dog barking, cock crowing, people chattering in the inner courtyard directly under rooms, etc...). The doors did not shield sufficiently.

Amazing !!!

Where to start ?? The hotel is surrounded by nature (mountains and animals) and wine yards. It’s perfect to relax and disconnect. The room was super clean and big enough for two people. The hotel personal are extremely nice and open to help you when needed. You can feel thy do their best to make you feel as home. Breakfast and dinner were amazing !!! Our highlight the wine … Really recommend to stay in the Kantina & Ferma Dukat. We will come back for sure :)

What a memorable experience!

A truly experience of Albanian rural life. The setting is idyllic! Surrounded by vineyards! Waking up by distant ship bells and gentle chorus of crickets. The staff is so kind, warm and genuinely helpful. The food is homemade with own products. This is a family business and you can feel the energy of how much they enjoy what they do and the joy of sharing this beautiful experience of simple and amazing live. The room was spotless which for me is very important. Bed sheets perfectly ironed, towels crisp, white and fresh, exactly what you would expect at a high end hotel. They are doing everything right. We left with a heart full of joy and warmth and the hope to come back again! I wish them all the very best, they are a true example of how tourism should be done!

A paradise in the nature

Out of our entire trip, Kantina & Ferma Dukat was by far our favorite place,it truly left us speechless and exceeded all our expectations. The setting they’ve created is simply wonderful, surrounded by greenery, vineyards, olive trees, and pomegranates. I absolutely love animals, so it was amazing to see the sheep up close, such a special touch, and also their little fluffy dog. The food was absolutely delicious, all made with fresh, genuine, zero-kilometre ingredients. Everything is prepared using their own produce, and we couldn’t resist buying some of their products, especially the olive oil and pomegranate liqueur. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, we truly felt embraced with warmth. The overall atmosphere was magical and unforgettable!

Super stay on a beautiful location

Amazing location off the rod. Beautiful plants and animals around. Besides a nice breakfast we had diner as well. The room is totally new, the Internet is super and all other facilities are present. The value was way higher than the price

Perfect stay to calm down, enjoy the nature and good food

Everybody at the farm was so lovely/ helpful/ welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay at Kantina & Ferma Dukat. The rooms are new, very nice and comfortable (large bed, AC, mirror in the bath and outside, mini fridge filled with a welcome wine), the balcony has the nicest views either to the wine / olive trees or to the mountains, which are stunning. The breakfast is traditional and also just tasteful, just like the options of lunch or dinner (best to give the hosts a heads up e.g on Instagram @kantinadukati if you want to have lunch/dinner) which only uses products from their farm. The farm has a very good location surrounded by their fields (they also have chickens, sheep’s, tortoises which are cute) and only a 3min car drive distance to the SH8 and 8min to the town, but you cannot see or hear the street.

Volop in de rust van de natuur genieten van gewoon zijn, heerlijk eten en drinken.

Aan de voet van de magische bergen die haast een schilderij vormen vind je deze plek. Een wijnboerderij waarbij ze de natuur eren. Mooie producten maken en waar je kunt overnachten en eten. De lieve mensen die je helemaal vertroetelen. Topverblijf!

Von der Farm auf den Tisch.

Sehr, sehr ruhig und bodenständig. Die Nachbarn kommen regelmäßig vorbei und der Ortspolizist schaut nachmittags auch mal kurz auf einen Kaffee vorbei. Die Hühner laufen tagsüber überall auf dem Grundstück herum. Die Katzen jagen den Heuschrecken hinterher und der kleine Hund hat alles unter Kontrolle. Zum Frühstück gibt’s vor Toast mit Spiegelei Tomaten, Käse, Gurken, Honig, Marmelade etc. Das meiste vom eigenem Hof. Man kann dort auch Mittag oder zu Abend essen. Es gibt das, was die Küche vorhält. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß hier.

O campo junto ao mar

A localização deslumbrante, a simpatia do funcionário que me recebeu há noite, o vinho de fabrico deles, o jantar. Que agradável surpresa.

Só não lhes dou nota 10, porque a cama apenas tinha uma coberta fina. Não têm edredon no quarto e tive de dormir com ar condicionado ligado, que seca o ar. Mas é apenas um pormenor no meio de muitas coisas boas.

Tolle Übernachtung ausserhalb des Trubels

MItten in den Wein- und Olivenfeldern gelegen, 500 Meter vom nächsten Haus entfernt. 8 Zimmer, 4 zum Hof, 4 zu den Weinfeldern. Auf der Terasse vor dem Zimmer sitzt man unter Weinreben und geniesst die Flasche Wein, die man kostenlos als Gast bekommt. Auf dem Zimmer findet man auch ein Glas mit Wiesenkräutern vor, aus denen man sich einen Tee kochen kann (Waserkocher vorhanden). Im kleinen Restaurant wird das köstliche Frühstück serviert und man kann Abends aus einer kleinen Karte ein Abendessen wählen.

Wir sind begeistert von der Gastfreundlichkeit in der Kantina & Frrma Dukat. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, idyllisch gelegen. Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Wein sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Tout était exceptionnel. L’accueil, la chambre, l’équipement, le petit déjeuner , l’emplacement au pied des montagnes, cerise sur le gâteau : une bouteille de vin nous a été offerte à notre arrivée

Außergewöhnlich gut !

Super Unterkunft , es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Die Anfahrt ist etwas holprig, aber es lohnt sich sehr. Wir wurden mit einem Granatapfelsaft aus eigener Herstellung begrüßt , dann zeigte man unser tolles neues Zimmer. Und erklärte uns , alles was man auf der Farm sieht und findet , darf gerne auch gegessen werden. Abends bekamen wir ein albanisches Menü, alle Produkte sind von der eigenen Farm. Sehr freundliche waren alle zu uns. Wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen sucht , ist hier genau richtig . Würden jedes Mal wieder kommen

Fantastisk - besöker gärna igen och ska varmt rekommendera det till vänner.

Fantastiskt bemötande och personal. Ernie, tror jag han stavar det, gav tips om utflyktsmål och delade personligt med sig av sin bild av Albanien. Mycket god mat, genuint, och härlig miljö med gäster från alla jordens hörn. Sköldpaddor, höns, hundar, katter, får och getter bland olivträd, vindruvor som snart var redo för skörd och juice på granatäpplen från gården. Och vinet - toppen. En liten bir från havet men på ca 1 h kommer en till fantastiska stränder.

Skillnader mellan Albanien och Sverige vid ex djurhållning och hur en hanterar skräp osv finns även här men det är ju just skillnader som gör mycket av resan. Att uppleva och lära av varann.

Der perfekte Abschluss unserer Albanienreise.

Und hat alles gefallen. Für 2-3 Tage kann man sich nichts besseres vorstellen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas entfernt von Vlora, dafür hat man den perfekten Ausblick und Gebirge. Das Essen im Restaurant und der Wein, ist bestimmt das Beste was wir in 12 Tagen in Albanien gegessen haben. Alexander und seine Familie sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Vielen lieben Dank.

Heerlijk rustige en authentieke plek om bij te komen

De rustige locatie en het lekkere lokale eten en de wijn waren fantastisch. Wij hebben in de avond mogen genieten van een aantal verschillende lokale producten en gerechten, dat was heerlijk! De kamer zelf was erg comfortabel, goede bedden, fijne badkamer en meer dan genoeg ruimte. Ook konden de rolluiken voor de ramen dicht waardoor je in de ochtend niet wakker werd van de zon. Daarnaast hebben wij erg genoten van het gezelschap en de gastvrijheid van Erni. De wijnproeverij is een aanrader, helaas liet de ruimte in de koffers minder wijn toe dan gewenst.

Incroyable pause hors du temps

J’ai très bien été accueillis par les hôtes, j’ai vraiment été traitée comme une cliente à part entière. Le lieu est incroyable, au milieu des vignes, du potager, des animaux et des montagnes c’est une vraie pause hors du temps. On se sent comme chez soit. Les chambres sont très confortables, je recommande très vivement le repas du soir car tous les produits sont fait à la ferme. Le vin est assemblé par le propriétaire des lieux et vraiment très bon. Si vous voyagez en Albanie il faut absolument faire un arrêt à la ferme. Encore merci pour l’accueil !
