A lovely cosy place with breathtaking views.

Our stay at this chalet was a true delight, and we couldn't have asked for a better-equipped home for a self-catering break. The highlight, without a doubt, was stepping out onto the balcony each morning and being greeted by the absolutely breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. Watching the sunlight hit the peaks was a spectacular way to start every day. The kitchen truly stands out, as it is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. We found it so easy to cook our own dinners, and it became a cherished part of our evenings. It's worth noting that due to the peaceful, remote location, a car is essential, and there are no restaurants nearby. For us, this was a huge plus, as it meant we could fully embrace the quiet mountain life. The property itself is incredibly warm and cozy, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The owners even provided a selection of board games, which were a lovely touch and perfect for a relaxing night in. Overall, this property offers a wonderfully private and well-appointed experience. If you're looking for a comfortable home base where you can enjoy magnificent scenery and quality time with loved ones, this is the perfect spot.

While we loved the property itself, there were a few issues that impacted our stay and we feel it's important for future guests to know about them. First, we were disappointed that the check-in time was set for 4 p.m. and an extra fee was required for an earlier arrival. We also strongly disagreed with the security deposit policy: guests are required to pay a €500 security deposit or a non-refundable €25 fee if they choose not to. We felt this was a surprising and inconvenient policy. Additionally, while we understand that it's a rural location, there were quite a few bugs and spiders around the property. This isn't the fault of the owners, but it's something to be aware of if you're sensitive to that.

The chalet offers wonderful views of the Mont Blanc, has ample parking space and a great living room.

Maintenance and overall state of the house is typical French: so, so. We reported some issues on our day of arrival: wifi basically not usable, TV not working, one shower cabin inaccessible, rendering one bathroom unusable and terrace table dangerously instable. Only the last one was solved eventually at the last day of our stay; we have dined inside during our entire and hot stay. If you do not like bugs, moths and/or spiders, do not go here. They are virtually everywhere in the house. Kitchenware, plates glasses and cutlery not really clean upon arrival. Views and proximity to ski lift most probably are the positives for the chalet.
