Cozy Quentin Apartment near Danube River

Easy to check in on our own, with clear instructions provided beforehand. The area was well connected and you could either walk to things or use public transport. The kitchen had some basics but not great for cooking. Two bathrooms was a plus.

Despite the good windows, there was noise especially at night from the metro that passes under the building. The overall condition was lower than it seemed in the photos but acceptable. Squeaky upstairs floor. The bathroom door didn't really close or lock. There was no central heating or cooling, there were a few low-quality electric radiators provided but out of 5, 2 didn't work, and 1 was missing a leg. We stayed in March and my parents found it a bit cold but I was ok. Towels were washed but some had stains and they started smelling after 1 use.

Location close to the metro and not too far away the center ( you can commute by foot). It really looks pretty and cozy. Two hair dryer were really nice to have as we stayed in the apartment as group of 5 girls :) clear check-in instruction and nice communication. There are a few supermarkets close to the apartment.

1. I’ll start with the crucial point for us - two bathroom. Bathroom on the second floor wasn’t really helpful, as it’s impossible to take shower simultaneously on the first and second floors. Water pressure not enough. And if someone take shower on the first floor, you cannot take shower on the second floor. For us it was crucial, as we stay at you apartment as group of 5 girls and book the apartment with two bathroom by purpose. To be able to use two bathroom and avoid the queque to one. If we know before that the second shower useless we book other option with two bathroom or cheaper one with one bathroom. 2.The other problem is cleanest of some part of the apartment: clogged drain in the shower on the first floor. Water didn’t go, so I decided to open the drain top. When I remove the top of the drain, I was sick because of amount of hair, dirt and reside of the previous guests. I guess this drain was not clean for a long time. And it is awful. As well there some cups with the leftovers and bread covered in mold. That we throw to the trash. But we’re really shocked to find it. 4. Very creaky and thin floor on the second floor. If you go to the toilet on the second floor, people from the first floor immediately wake up as it pretty “loud”

Die Türen lassen sich nicht komplett schließen und das Apartment ist sehr hellhörig. Sonst war alles super! Sehr sauber und eine gute Lage.

Location was very convenient. Communication before arrival. Everything you need in the apartment. Easy access. Right outside the tram stop 4 and 6.

The apartment wasn’t clean. There were dirty towels in the cupboard. Our feet were black from walking on the floors. There were socks left behind the sofa cushions. Stains all over the rug and sofa. The wardrobes and bedrooms were full of old fans and heaters. Bath upstairs was dirty and couldn’t be used because the plug didn’t fit. Construction work going on next door (that we weren’t told about). Workers arrived at 8am. WiFi worked for the first two days but then two days without.
