SHAK Halls Gap - Off Grid Tiny Home

Location was good

It was very cold. I understand the vibe is about being in nature. But in very cold conditions curtains for the windows at night would be a good sustainable option to keep in the warmth and reduce energy use.

Had the most magical night away in this beautiful, modern and remarkably spacious Tiny home. It had everything we needed and more! Lovely private outdoor firepit to roast marshallows, small but cozy indoor fireplace, electric heater, double shower which opened to outside! The skylight in the bedrooms was a nice addition to stargaze and we enjoyed delicious coffee from the machine in the morning. ☕️ it was not far from intown however still felt secluded. Me and hubby absolutely loved it! Would book again 💯 Many more surprises in this Tiny home 😍

The toilet being a long drop, had minimal smell though and added to the glamping experience.

I appreciated that the tiny home was in a great location, close to the city centre and the local pub. Check‑in was simple and communication was easy, which made the arrival smooth.

The experience didn’t feel as secluded as I was expecting. There were people walking just metres from the accommodation, which took away from the sense of privacy I was expecting. The tiny home itself was clean and nicely presented, but it lacked some basic essentials such as a toaster, TV, and even a BBQ for outdoor cooking. With tiny‑home stays, you generally expect thoughtful, economical touches that make the compact space feel functional and comfortable, and these were noticeably missing
