Cozy 2 Bedroom Static Caravan in Clarach Bay , Aberystwyth

Character Bay caravan site is amazing resort. The amount of caravans are too numerous to count. Great amenities, swimming pool, club houses, site shop. The site nettles nicely between the Irish sea, a lovely pebbley beach. When the tide goes out, there are magnificent rock formations at the base of the cliffs that separate Clara's Bay from Aberystwyth. The cliffs are covered with some beautiful wooded areas, with stunning cottages scattered unassumingly among them. There is a delightful coastal path that winds up the cliff face. At the top there is a picnic area, cafe, viewing platforms, and a Victorian venicular railway that takes you down to the Aberystwyth promenade road. The views all round are breath taking. And the sunsets over the sea are spectacular. The caravan was brilliant. Clean, modern, bright, homely, and well equipped. En-suite toilet in main bedroom, separate bathroom with a fabulous shower, a very cosy caravan. All together, a perfect Bank Holiday weekend break. I cannot fault any part of it.

I didn't like how quickly the weekend passed. I was coming home all too soon.

Spacious caravan, nice double bedroom with own toilet, 1 small single with 2 beds, shower as fine as, kitchen an living room (spacious) , also a pullout bed in the sofa, nice little touches, coffee tea, tv with Netflix, the WiFi was good. Customers service - outstanding , Chris got in touch straight away after booking the caravan with all necessary info. When we had issues with the boiler/radiator, Nige came to the rescue , super friendly and fixed the boiled (resetting) and brought a spare radiator while the bedroom one was being serviced.

Lovely caravan, lovely place, good entertainment, good facilities, good for familes and children. I wish we booked more days. Definately booking for next year.

That I didnt book a longer trip.

The caravan itself was fine but linen and equipment was very basic.

We required assistance from staff to remove the key from the keybox. There was no wifi (no smart TV services) available until the last night of our stay. As mobile coverage was patchy this was very inconvenient as we were trying to coordinate with family and friends. We had to wait for staff help to get gas fire and heating working. Better instructions would have helped.
