Lovley 3 bedroom Static Caravan in Clarach Bay

Clean and comfortable. Great position on the site for us ladies of a certain age! Away from the hub of the entertainment so really quiet. It is an older van with only a very small decking area but it was ideal for us.

No bad comments to make really.

Good location

Lovely Caravan, great location with beach, burger and ice cream bar, pizza and bar, fish and chip shop, children's rides and arcade. Gym and indoor heated swimming pool and launderette all within 10 minutes walk, sorry forgot about shop. However if you want none of that you can just relax and enjoy the mountain views.The beds were clean and comfortable, shower with plenty of hot water and powerful and a very well equipped kitchen. Lounge comfortable and a good fire and heaters in bedroom for those nippy nights.

The caravan was clean, but there were a few hygiene issues. The microwave was clean inside, but was very greasy on the outside, including the sandwich grill on top of the microwave. When I emptied the bin there was rubbish left in the bottom of the bin. There was bits of rubbish left underneath my bed, but only a small amount, but it had definitely not been hoovered. When I put the fire on, I found ants coming out of a small gap between the fire place and the floor. Could not put ant powder down as dangerous for dogs, so used anti bacteria spray which I found under sink. This continued throughout our stay, but the spray did keep them at bay. Also a little mould at bottom of shower tray and door. Could also do with lamp in lounge. Despite these small issues we had a great holiday and we would book again. These issues are easily solved.

Love Clarach Bay, 3rd time of coming here. The perfect place for little ones (2 girls age 5 and 7) and a dog. Little fairground which the girls love, beach on site and dog friendly. Lots to do nearby as well, visit aberystwyth for the cliff train, and if you can get a chance to go to devil's bridge do it! We also normally drive down to Newquay for a day to go in a boat to see the dolphins! This caravan was perfect. It was more of a home than a caravan with extras such as drawing pens, dvds , there's even a thermometer , litrle toilet seat for little ones and a baby monitor so the hosts really did think of everything. Super cute. Would definitely book again. Thank you for letting us in your home
