Gardenia Guest House

The room was exceptional! Very well designed, it had everything we needed. Plenty of space and electrical outlets, a functional and well equipped kitchen, a very comfortable bed and an air con unit that seemed new and worked very well. The balcony is marvellous. We had our breakfast there every morning, watching the sea and the ships sailing away, and listening to the birds in the trees nearby. We also liked the location. Very close to both the biggest beach in Balchik and the promenade. However, because it is not in the middle of everything , it is very quiet. The turkish restaurant downstairs is a big plus. The staff there is very friendly and the food is delicious and served in very big portions. The only thing I would maybe add in the room are a couple more pillows. There were only two, very soft ones.

As great as the room is, the bathroom could use a little attention. While it is functional, it's a little dated and scrappy. The drain is indeed a bit smelly, but with a closed door it didn't bother us that much. Anyway, what we needed most was a place to hold all of our bathroom products. With a plastic rack, maybe, and some hooks for the towels, everything would have been perfect.

The room was exceptionally clean everything was perfectly arrenged. I really appreciated the attention and care from the owners. They were kind, welcoming and assisting us with everytning we needed. I would gladlly stay here again.
