A spacious, modern house with a beautiful contemporary design. The garage is so wide that I was even able to turn my car around inside with ease. The panoramic ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, and the floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of the scenery. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, and all the appliances work perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, the beds were large and comfortable, and there was even a choice of pillows. One of the biggest advantages is the peace and privacy. There are no barking dogs, crowing roosters, or noisy bars nearby—they are all far enough away that they never disturb you. Although there is a road next to the house, it is not a main road, so there is very little traffic, especially at night. If you're travelling with children, they'll love watching the airplanes on their final approach to the airport. It's a fascinating sight without being disruptive. There is also a small supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. And the highlight of the property is undoubtedly the jacuzzi, where you can relax while enjoying stunning views of Santa Cruz, the garden, and the Atlantic Ocean. This is the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and unforgettable views.

Just one small point to be aware of: we were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi during our stay. We couldn't determine the reason, and we were unable to find any instructions that might have helped us connect.

Beautiful Villa overlooking the ocean. High upon a hill, front deck was our spot for morning coffee and watching planes land. This Villa has everything you could want for an extended stay. Beautifully appointed, wide open spaces, great kitchen. The bedrooms have big closets, great views of the ocean and comfy beds. The tile work in the bathrooms a plus. Attention to detail and cleanliness of the property was spot on. We loved the hot tub in the early morning and after a long day of hiking and touring, Easy access on and off the highway. We took a private tour with Duarte to the West end of the island and had a blast for 7 hours as he stopped at lots of areas and took great care to show us places otherwise unseen. Don’t miss the bird sanctuary, go early during your stay as you will most likely want to go again. We also booked a whale dolphin sunset trip, what a fun evening with lots of Dolphins happy to put on a show! Santa Cruz is 5 minutes from the Villa and downtown Funchal 15 minutes. If you are an avid hiker you’re in luck! Also, a trip over to Porto Santo is a must see as the beach is wonderful with the healing sands and the water calm and warm. Their is a grocery store right down the hill from the Villa that has everything you need to stock your kitchen for your stay. Having a washer and dryer was super and appreciated. Enjoy your stay, relax and explore.
