Duplex 40 m2 in Balagne village center, 400 m altitude, 20 min from the coast

The location of the house in Muro is convenient, just a 15-minute drive from both Calvi and L'Île-Rousse, making it easy to explore the beautiful nearby beaches. Our host was friendly and provided some helpful tips for local restaurants, which we appreciated. The house itself is small but spacious enough for a couple with two young children. However, there were many issues that need addressing before this house can be considered a viable rental. The shower door was broken, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor every time it was used. There was no internet available, despite it being advertised as an amenity, which was quite frustrating. Worst of all, the house was filthy upon our arrival. It was clear that the floors, bathroom, and kitchen hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and we had to clean the house ourselves before settling in. This was not acceptable, and the property is simply not in a suitable condition to receive guests. Overall, while the location is great and the host was pleasant, the state of the house was very disappointing. We hope these issues can be resolved for future guests.
