Thank you Pauline, for your labor of love. This house is tastefully decorated, extremely clean, comfortable and efficient. Being there in April, it was still a bit chilly, so Pauline kept the pool warm for us so we could enjoy it whilst gazing out at the mountains and watching the beautiful red kite birds circle and hunt. At night, so many stars!! We enjoyed being so close to nature, yet close to the beautiful old village of Santa-Reparata-di-Balagne. Do yourself a favor and aimlessly stroll around the oldest parts of that village as well as Occigliati. You are surrounded by beaucoup similar mountain villages to explore at soaring heights. Pauline made great recommendations for restaurants and local destinations. If we have the opportunity, we will return. One week was not enough time to take in all of the local beaches and destinations. So much to see, while still quiet and relaxing. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful couple of weeks at this beautiful villa. As you can see from the photos, the decor is really stylish and it's well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The heated pool is great for family fun and has a jacuzzi bubbles at the shallow end to relax in. There are plenty of stunning white sandy beaches nearby and lots of cute mountain villages to visit. The pretty town of Ile Rousse is nearby and has a great market for fresh veg, cured meats and cheese as well as nice restaurants and shops. Calvi only 30 minutes away by car or there's a train to Calvi from ile Rousse. This villa is a lovely luxurious base for exploring all that Corsica has to offer. Thanks Pauline for your hospitality.
