Cabin in Sweden

About this cabin rental
The cottage is one of the rectory’s charming, culturally historic cottages that has lain dormant for the past 100 years but has now been carefully restored using traditional methods to preserve its unique character. The walls are plastered with clay and painted with homemade egg-oil tempera; the floorboards are wide and worn; the ceilings are low; and the cozy factor is enormous!
You cook your meals on the wood-burning iron stove, and if it’s cold, the cabin heats up quickly with a fire in the pipe stove. A portable induction cooktop is tucked away, but to preserve the quiet and not disturb the feeling of a time that has stood still, the refrigerator and microwave have been placed in the bakehouse right next door.
The cottage is furnished with as little plastic and modern amenities as possible and is cleaned using eco-friendly products.
For your convenience, a modern bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating has been discreetly incorporated into the cottage. The mattress on the bed is new and comfortable, and there are blackout curtains and a mosquito net.
The garden surrounding the cottages is available for use, complete with patio furniture and a grill. The family’s pool is available between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM or by arrangement. Bicycles are available to borrow, and it takes about 8 minutes to cycle to the lake, where you can enjoy swimming and fishing.
The coachman’s residence can be conveniently rented together with the adjacent, slightly larger tenant’s residence, which has two bedrooms. An listing for that will be posted soon.
Welcome!
