Beautiful mountain top cabin in a gated community with the best 180º view in Tellico Plains!
The space
Skyline Summit
Lovable cabin in a gated community with the best 180 degree views in Tellico Plains! Only three miles from the Tellico River, restaurants, and town. The wide and open deck provides room for entertaining or just relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the sunsets and extraordinary views of the Appalachian Mountains and Cherokee National Forest. This cabin offers a rustic chic design and open floor plan with towering windows to showcase the panoramic views from almost every seat in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials and a gas range, farmhouse apron sink, textured granite countertops, abundant cabinet space, and an island with a bar for dining. Hardwood floors are throughout the cabin. Authentic barn slider doors for the bath and bedroom downstairs. The bathroom offers double sinks and a spacious walk-in tile shower. The loft bedroom has the same breathtaking views as the lower level. Charcoal cooking grill out front (don’t forget to bring charcoal, but seasonings/condiments provided in kitchen).

The Highlands is a beautiful, quiet gated cabin community. Tellico Plains and the Tellico River are only three miles away from this cabin. Delve into the endless miles of science roads and hiking trails all throughout the East Tennessee Mountains, including the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee National Forrest. Explore the caves at the Lost Sea Adventure or drive the legendary Tail of the Dragon (11 miles of Hwy 129 with 318 curves). Enjoy amazing food at Tellico Grains Bakery, Iron Works Grille, or Tellico Beach Drive-In. Perhaps you may want to enjoy a tour of the Tsali Notch Vineyard during your visits? The area offers a diverse offering including rafting/kayaking, trout fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and driving.
Pet Policy:
We charge a $50 pet fee (2 pet maximum allowed). Under “Guests" select 1 or 2 "Pets" and the fee is added automatically to your reservation.
We ask that you please be respectful and try to keep pets off bedding and furniture and they remain leashed when outside. We do have bear!
Check In after 4:00pm and Check Out before 10:00am

The cabin was perfect! Our favorite thing was the view. We also loved how small Tellico Plains is and we were able to enjoy some local food while we were there. (Benton’s Bacon and Tellico Grains) We would come back again!

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was amazing! The views were breathtaking, the hosts so communicative and understanding, and the cabin itself was updated and modern. We loved our stay and will be coming back!
