- This 2-story cabin offers step-free entry. While a bedroom and bathroom are located on the 1st floor, interior stairs are required to access the loft bedroom suite
- An exterior staircase off the deck and a private path with steps are required to access the lake. There is a moderately steep incline from the lake to the house which may be difficult for some guests
- Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is required due to the surrounding gravel roads
- The property does have cell phone service, but it may be spotty since the property is located in a forest area. Please check with your provider to confirm your service quality. WiFi calling through Starlink Internet and a cell phone booster are available at the property
- Personal boats or jet skis are allowed but must be launched at the Lake Apalachia Boat Ramp. Large trailers must be stored at one of the local marinas, and mooring equipment and bumpers must be supplied by the guest. Please reach out to the Guest Contact in advance of your stay if you plan to bring a boat or jet ski to make arrangements
- There are no marinas on the lake. Please bring your own fuel
