Villa La Punta

It was a real treat to be able to stay in this villa. A surreal vista of Lake Como with immediate access into the town center, plenty of room and privacy, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Maddi was an excellent responsive caretaker. Our 8 days with a family of 5 (kids 2, 5, 7) went by far too fast. What a treasure.

Villa La punta is like a stor book. The view and location was exceptional. Waking up to the lake and mountains each day was such a gift. The call into town so easy , even with two four year old and a baby!

Stunning views. Clean and updated bathrooms : kitchens. Plenty of room for the whole family to gather and have their own space. Green lawn, outside dining. The host Maddi is so easy to work with

It was designed with thoughtful touches and well chosen essentials, even small details we wouldn’t have thought of were perfectly in place Maddi the host is very nice and helpful 🌹 Thank you very much ❤️

Villa La Punta was the perfect rental for a stay in Bellagio on Lake Como. The combination of location, the views, and the property made it the ideal spot for a family vacation. Communication from booking to arrival was excellent as well as throuhgout our stay if we had questions. We were greeted by the owner and welcomed with a lovely bottle of prosecco and a tour of the property. The home is spacious with four bedrooms upstairs and individual A/C in each room. We visited during a heatwave in July and it was wonderful to have both at night as well as coming back to the home after touring the area. The beds were very comfortable and each room had a wardrobe and storage for unpacking. There are two bathrooms upstairs (one has a tub only and one has a shower.) There is an additional bathroom downstairs with a shower. There were plenty of towels including beach towels for walking down to the lake which was an appreciated touch! The Kitchen is spacious and has close access to the outdoor dining table (there is also one in the kitchen.) There were plenty of dishes, cooking supplies/pans, and coffee provided. As others have noted, the pictures do not do justice to the incredible views in person. The property is large enough that it feels private and removed but is a prime location at the tip of Bellagio that you have expansive views across the lake including views of Varenna and Mennagio. We have rented a house previously in Bellagio but it was further removed from the city. This was the perfect location. A brief walk (less than 5 minutes) down a lovely road took you to the center of town with access to restaurants, shopping and groceries — but you also felt removed enough from the daily bustle of Bellagio with the many tourists visiting. It was delightful to walk the city in the morning and evening before/after the many tourists arrived by ferry throughout the day.

The location is actually stunning. It's hard to even appreciate how great it is until you take the ferry to Varenna and you see it is one only a few houses on that point. Absolutely stunning and the house itself is wonderful. Was great for our family of five. It's also only a 5 minute walk to the center of Bellagio. You can go up the hill for the shopping area or down the hill for the waterfront.

I can't think of anything that we didn't like.
