I had the most wonderful stay at Maison de la Lune, it truly felt like stepping into an Arabian fairytale. Every corner of the house is beautifully decorated, full of charm and character. I especially loved the hammam, as well as the peaceful garden and the rooftop terrace, which made the whole experience even more special. Ali was incredibly helpful and kind, he showed me around the town and shared so much knowledge about the area, its culture, and history. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated his support and guidance. Lucy, the owner, is just as lovely, so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A truly memorable stay that I would absolutely recommend 🤍

Maison de la Lune is a restored riad in Tetouan's beautiful medina. The tile on the floors and walls, the ceilings and the decorations are exquisite. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is hot water, soap, good towels, and a terrace to view the city. Before my stay I was in contact with Lucy, the owner. She was extremely helpful about the layout of the riad and how to get there. She speaks many languages, including English. I was lucky that Lucy was in town during my stay. She greeted me at my taxi and helped me find the riad (medinas can be like mazes) and transport my luggage. The riad doesn't serve breakfast but we went out to breakfast at local places that were close and I really enjoyed that. Lucy introduced me to Ali, a local Moroccan who gave me an unforgetable tour of the medina and helped me arrange a hamman. He also got me to the best rug store in Tetouan, Hamido Artesania Tradicional, as well as an authentic argan store. Ali also introduced me to other Moroccans, like Outhmane, who helped me navigate my exploration of the medina and the Spainish Enshance. All of this, because I booked my stay at the Maison de la Lune.
My stay was great. No complaints.
