Villa Roma Nou by Sealand Villas

We stayed at Villa Roma Nou in July. The villa is spacious and has a charming Spanish style with lots of potential. Beds are comfortable. All bedrooms have air conditioning, though it’s restricted to two time slots: 2–4 PM and 8 PM–8 AM. Only one bedroom has an en suite bathroom (Booking.com states there are two en suite). There’s also a third bathroom located outside in a separate building next to the outdoor kitchen. This outdoor bathroom was very convenient after swimming, as it meant we didn’t have to walk through the house while wet. The rooms are large with high ceilings, and the garden is private and peaceful. The property has two remote-controlled gates—one at the entrance to a group of villas and a second gate for direct access to this villa, which made it feel very secure. The outdoor dining area is lovely—shaded for most of the day except at breakfast—and a great place to relax. The internet connection was excellent throughout the stay: strong, fast, and reliable across multiple devices. The swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained. Martin came almost daily to clean it and even fixed our umbrella when the wind broke it. The BBQ is a fantastic addition—we bought charcoal ourselves and used it often. Games in the garden are fantastic addition. Villa is unique and beautiful would not change anything there.

The hot water boiler tripped frequently—often after one person showered or even mid-shower. We had to reset it multiple times, which was a bit frustrating. We bought our own kitchen cleaning spray and regularly cleaned the kitchen and outdoor table, as ants became an issue. Could agency supply basic cleaning kitchen items? Toilet rolls we also had to purchase ourselves. When we arrived, the main bathroom toilet flush was broken. Should this be reported and fixed before our arrival? After calling the agency, they sent someone the next day to fix it, so we had to stay in for half the day. Miguel, the technician, was really nice and professional.
