Calypso Cabaña

The house was incredible and likely saved our trip. We had lots of rain and many things we had planned were cancelled, but having such a lovely home to relax in, including the beautiful porch and gazebo made it a non issue. Loved having a blender to make smoothies. Large shower without fear of electrocution. A/C was perfect. Attentive staff. A bit out of the town center but easy walking distance to most things, especially the park. Quiet neighborhood except for the howler monkeys who we loved waking up to. So much wildlife around, truly a magical stay.

The gas on the stove is very high so it could be difficult to cook without burning foods, even on low. The kitchen towels weren't terribly absorbent which was only an issue when there was water on the floor. The bed linens kept sliding off the bed and there was no mattress pad or protector. None of these were major issues but small things the host may want to consider in the future.

Rachel was accommodating, kind and responded immediately to everything. The facilities were clean and it was great to have unlimited fresh water to drink. Also - loved that a load of laundry was picked up and washed very quickly within 2 hours. Very close to Cahuita's beautiful park and beaches. Highly recommend staying here. Also - the property is beautiful.

Ein wunderschöner Garten mit Affen, Meerschweinchen, Fledermäusen..wenn man kochen möchte, gut eingerichtete Küche! Auch die Veranda ist ein Traum um morgens seinen Kaffee zu trinken und die Natur zu beobachten! Auch der Nationalpark ist fußläufig erreichbar.

Typisch eingerichtete Wohnung mit offenen Decken, wodurch bei mehreren Personen etwas Privatsphäre fehlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist etwas hoch im Vergleich zu anderen bnb's. Während des Aufenthalts gab es eine unerwartete Begegnung mit einer Fledermaus. Positiv hervorzuheben ist dabei die überaus kompetente und hilfreiche Unterstützung bei der Lösung der Situation!
