Our one-night stay at this Big Bear cabin was incredibly pleasant! The space itself was cute, cozy, and perfectly comfortable for a quick mountain getaway. We were delighted by the thoughtful amenities provided, including a full bath, microwave, fridge, and sink, along with a coffee maker, toaster, utensils, and mugs. We were especially grateful that the hosts provided hand soap and dish soap, as we had forgotten to pack them. The logistics of the stay were seamless and private; the check-in and check-out process was entirely self-service, and the hosts were very responsive. We felt secure knowing the door automatically locks, and the code system for entry worked flawlessly throughout our visit. As it was November, the heater was a lifesaver, warming the cabin quickly, and the hot water came up to temperature fast. The quick Wi-Fi and Smart TV (which was compatible with my tablet) were great for relaxing, and having toilet paper already stocked was a small but appreciated convenience.
While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, we did encounter a couple of minor maintenance issues. The main problem was the shower, as we noticed water spilling out onto the bathroom floor when we used it. Additionally, the main electrical plug-in near the sink in the bathroom was not working. Finally, the windows were only covered by fabric curtains, and we think that having blinds installed would be more practical and provide better privacy. Thankfully, the electrical issue was easily remedied, as there were plenty of other functional outlets around the cabin that we could use instead. These issues are easily fixable and certainly didn't stop us from enjoying a very cozy and relaxing night in the mountains.

Easy to get to and served its purpose for the night with a bed.
Dirty floor and overwhelming smell from the wood burner. Wasn’t quite sure if the door was locked from the inside or not - this was not ideal as a solo female traveller. Door lock could be more secure with an extra bolt on inside.

The property was so adorable and small!
They weren’t kidding when they said it was a micro cabin, but we had enough room and honestly it was so comfy!!!
We made sure to bring blankets because we did get a message saying that that wouldn’t be made available to us! Blankets, towels, pillows, and bedsheets weren’t included !
We even brought toilet paper just in case there wasn’t any there but they did leave us at least two rolls of toilet paper!
They provided Netflix and Disney+ which I was so happy about!!!
The water was running very hot and the heater worked so good!
They responded back very fast when I sent them a message with any questions I had!
We went when it was snowing outside and it was cold outside but we were not cold whatsoever in that cabin!
We really loved it and we hope to go back again soon maybe during the sprint time! 🫶🏽
Honestly everything went smoothly!
We did notice a few hiccups but nothing too crazy !
The first one we noticed was when we got to our cabin, we had two boxes of pizza that we brought with us to eat for the two days that we were going to stay there!
When we were watching TV, my boyfriend got up to go to the restroom and he went to wash his hands at the sink where we left the pizza boxes at and we noticed ants crawling all over one of the boxes!
They also got to one of his Arizona drinks and a box of donuts that we had !
There is a fridge that is in the cabin but it was really small, we mostly put in our water bottles and salsa so the other foods didn’t fit!
Another hiccup we came across was when I was showering, I noticed that the water would somehow come outside of the shower and it started to soak the floor!!
Next time we are for sure bringing more towels!
Oh yeah the restroom didn’t have an actual door, it was a curtain and honestly, it wasn’t a big deal to me! But my boyfriend was kind of 50/50 on whether he liked that or not!
Other than that, the cabin was so much fun and affordable! Cannot wait to come back again!!
