Lovely apartment in the center of Rome, Monti

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of Monti. Close walking to the Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Amphitheatre. There were about a hundred other statues and famous monuments nearby too. The shower hot water runs out after five minutes (we had lukewarm showers) and takes a while to reheat. There are trams and buses around but we walked everywhere so didn’t use any. We trained from the airport. Buy a ticket or there is a very hefty fine and the inspectors are super rude! Our host was brilliant. Gave us tips for restaurants and places to visit. Had a little kitchenette so you can prepare light meals. A little air conditioner wall unit in the bedroom. It’s an apartment that’s ground floor in a cute building but it’s old so don’t expect modern if you are fussy like that. We loved it. Remember if you are only sleeping and showering there it’s the location that will impress you.

The shower had about five minutes of hot water then it runs out. It’s a ground floor apartment and so can smell like damp when you first get there before airing it out.

L’emplacement est idéal, très proche des sites touristiques à pied qui était notre critère 1. Espace de rangements correctes. Si vous venez visiter Rome et non passer du temps dans le logement c’est suffisant.

Le logement n’est pas isolé. Fenêtre et porte donnent sur le hall d’entrée donc passages dans l’immeuble à toutes heures bruyants et inconfortables. Cuisine très peu équipée, il manque un égouttoir à vaisselle. Qualité globale des équipements mauvaise (chaises de tables pieds bancales, porte de douche fragile, placards de cuisine fragiles)
