Das ehemalige Hotel Carlton wurde zu Apartments umgebaut. Sehr edel, allein der Eingang ist schon überwältigend. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, hat genügend Abstellflächen und Schränke. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Das Haus liegt 40 m vom Strand. Parkhaus 50 m entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute kleine Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Biarritz est une excellente destination. Cet hôtel est à 300 m de la plage, un bonheur. Le propriétaire est très agréable et compréhensif. Je recommande chaudement cet appartement.

Very good location in Central Biarritz. Kitchen well equipped, good shower, comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet for it's location

The property is very well located and close to a lovely and ‘local’ area which was a delightful surprise. It is well equipped if you need to use washing machine etc (which we didn’t).

The apartment is located in the grand property which was once The Carlton Hotel. The apartment is on the ground floor and access is through a dark inside former grand room of the hotel. I feel we were misinformed as the description of the property says quite clearly, that there are ‘landmark’ and ‘sea view’ when there are neither. In fact the only outside view you have is from one of the bedrooms into a side street which overlooks the garage where vehicles come into and out of the building. Overall there is little natural light so lights have to be on inside all the time. In addition, there is what appears to be, long term building work taking place to the outside of the building and which we were not informed about prior to our stay. If we had known we would have had the opportunity to make other more suitable choices. Overall very disappointing.
