About this apartment rental
Light and spacious apartment situated on the ground floor of a quiet and relaxed residential complex.All is refresh with my pro designer may 2016 (new decoation, beds on of them is king size bed 160*200 cm, paints, new tiling, entirely new bathroom, lighting fixtures , beds on of them is king size bed 160*200 cm etc...)
Open plan kitchen diner and living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. Ample built-in storage space.
There are 1 sofa with one bed in the living room (Italian brand felis search the net you will see are sofa beds very high end) 160 * 200 cm
The property is located in the heart of Biarritz, within easy reach of all commodities : you will never be more than 5 minutes walk away from the beaches, museums, shops, bars, restaurants, golf courses etc
I ll give you good local adress restaurant etc
I regularly surf at the Cote des Basques, so I can provide tips on surf spots and rent you boards if needed
EXTRAS :
-bed linen is free if you have book 4 nights.If not it's 10 euros each bed linen. You ll have to pay cash when you ll arrive thanks
-In light of previous abuses check in after 21 h you have to ask to me before if i agree by e mail (depend of my life). If not you have to pay 21h 00h 25 € ;00h 1h 35€ etc....thanks!
- Surf board rental on request (10€ per day - multiple boards available)
I'm a regular surfer on the basque coast & as such, I can easily give you informations & tips about the local surfing spots.
From the motorway, train station or airport, follow the town centre signs ( Centre Ville Biarritz ).
Travel time is no more than 5/10 minutes, & I am happy to help if need be.

Apartment is modern and clean in a residential block of flats (ground floor) with parking (most important in Biarritz). Slightly unpleasant drain smell in the corridor though.
Msr Geurin was very helpful and gave lots of information and recommendations for restaurants, places to go some of which we did and he was spot-on.
Although only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and seafront it was quiet at night. Biarritz is hilly, so the walk to town/beach and back may be a bit demanding for some - but not unpleasant. Excellent carrefour supermarket just a few minutes away.
The market hall is a must visit - stall after stall of the most gorgeous food - a feast for the eyes as well a feast to eat
Although much is made of the flat refreshed by designer, the bathroom fittings are showing the signs of wear and tear.
The bus service is excellent and we had a great day out at St Jean de Luz.
The only thing I had an issue with is the 700 euro cash cutionary deposit asked for - I have never been asked for such an enormous sum in all my years of renting gites/apartments/cottages in the UK or anywhere else in the world

Flat is a good size, in a great location (10minutes walk from the city center & the beaches!), clean & well equipped.
The owner is very helpful & friendly (even speaks a bit of english). Highly recommended.

"We were very pleased with the apartment's location, size and convenience. It was very quiet at night, which was important to us, but the shops and beach were no more than a pleasant 10-minute walk away. I would just suggest that mirrors could be placed in both bedrooms, as the only mirror is in the bathroom - there were three women in our party, all wanting to dry hair at the same time, so this made it a little difficult! It wasn't a huge problem, however. Biarritz itself is great - we would definitely return (to the city and the apartment)."
