Amles Apartment

Warm welcome, great communication with host. The kitchen, air-con & washer were a great plus. Was tight for 4 people but we made it work - the space was quite homey, comfortable, relatively well equipped for a holiday rental - incredibly clean too. Beautiful local village feeling in Orikum- nestled among majestic mountains. A short 8-10 min walk along a promenade to a part-pebble part-sandy beach with beautiful clear, calm water and gorgeous views while swimming - the perfect spot for a more rustic low-key unfussy experience away from flashier tourist centres. Expect to see sheep, chickens or goats roaming daily on back streets. Pleasantly surprised by the vast number of cafés, shops, restaurants and supplies open from 8am-11pm in less than 5 mins by foot (compared to what showed up in research) - nothing "fancy" or "chichi" here thankfully, just genuinely fresh local produce, nice people, good atmosphere and excellent coffee everywhere. Pool bar across the road ($). Some gluten free food at supermarket. Great pedicures closeby. Selma (host) was so genuinely helpful and concerned about our stay (there was an overnight power/water outage so she kept checking in on us; plus provided a couple of extra useful items for our comfort).

Everything about the apartment was good. Recommend it 👍

Everything out didnt like, the streets was in bad conditions.
