A estadia neste alojamento foi excepcional. Os anfitriões estão sempre disponíveis para ajudar e contribuir para que tudo corra bem com a estadia. A casa é de excelente bom gosto, desde a entrada até aos quartos. Mobiliário rústico natural aos modernos. Cozinha bem equipada para todas as eventuais refeições que possa vir a ter durante a estadia. Casa bem posicionada com uma vista de cortar a respiração, enquadrada no espaço natural da ilha. Sossegada, longe de toda a confusão de uma cidade é de facto um bom investimento para se tirar umas boas férias em casal, amigos ou em família. Como bem indica o nome do alojamento, Vigia dos Machados promove também a possibilidade de poder ver à distância grupos de baleias no mar a passar para nós sentirmos em sintonia com a Natureza. Recomendamos vivamente.

An sich ist das Haus mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht und einer recht guten Ausstattung versehen. Ich empfehle bei der Anreise eher ein etwas kleineres Auto zu Mieten, denn die Straße bis vor das Haus ist etwas eng, wir mit unserem Fiat Panda hatten da aber keine Probleme ;-). Die Ausstattung mit sehr viel Wurzelholzelementen ist recht ausgefallen und sorgt für Behaglichkeit.
Wir waren im Winter auf der Insel, Außentemperatur ca. 15°C. Dadurch hatte das Haus so seine kleinen Tücken. Leider war die Luftfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch und der kleine Raumentfeuchter war schnell überfordert. Auch bei den Kissen auf den Stühlen konnte man kleine Schimmelspuren sehen. Auch ein fehlendes Heizsystem trug dazu bei (wir hatten einen kleinen Ölradiator). Ich denke im Sommer ist es dort wesentlich Besser und gemütlicher.

The property is in a stunning location, beautiful views of the ocean and really peaceful. The property is set back from the road and there is little foot traffic so really nice and quiet.
The staff are also really helpful. Very responsive via text and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We were unfortunate with some really bad rain while at the property. So bad that one night the bottom floor began to flood. We were reassured that this was an extremely rare occurrence and credit to the staff they came to sort the issue and did everything in their power to resolve it.
