We were honestly a bit sceptical when booking this place. The apartment looked amazing in the photos, the price seemed almost too good to be true, and there hadn't been many recent reviews. Thankfully, our worries disappeared the moment we arrived. The apartment is exactly what you see in the pictures – modern, clean, spacious and very well looked after. It felt more like somewhere people actually live than a typical holiday rental. There were lots of useful extras too, including washing powder, fabric softener, soap and shampoo, which made life much easier. We did have a couple of minor issues. The payment situation was a little confusing as the Booking listing suggested one thing while cash was expected, and communication wasn't always perfect. That said, everything was sorted out without any stress, and the hosts were genuinely lovely throughout. We never felt pressured and they were always friendly and helpful. The washing machine looked like it had survived several historical events and took a bit of figuring out (thankfully AI came to the rescue), but it worked perfectly once we got going. The shower won't be winning any awards for power, but it got the job done after a day out exploring. A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival would have been a nice touch, especially after travelling, but that's really scraping the barrel for negatives. Overall, this was a great stay and excellent value for money. We came in slightly nervous because it seemed too good to be true, and left wondering why we were worried in the first place. We'd happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
