Hideaway cottage has a perfect location right at the lake and a beautiful area covered in glass with dining table and fireplace. Sauna in the cottage is perfect and a small pier to get to the lake (for swimming) is a great addition. Kitchen is a bit small, but you can still cook there it has various cooking accessories. Whole interior is nicely done. They also take good care of the surroundings.
We were there when it was around -20C so it was a bit challenging to keep the house warm enough (AC has to run all the time, besides other heating systems). The owners live right next to the cottage so we did not feel the privacy we would love to have when having holidays. Even though they are friendly and nice, they still came to check on us every day of our stay also entering the house etc.
They also have a lapphund dog that runs around the property freely. He is friendly and likes other dogs, but this might be an issue if you have a dog that does not like other dogs.

Kaunis mökki upeilla Päijänteen rantamaisemilla. Sauna ja avanto kruunasivat vierailun, ja paikka sopi erinomaisesti myös koirien kanssa majoittumiseen.
