Great apartment in the city center with sauna

The sauna was great and the apartment was located right in the city center. The kitchen had everything we needed: tea, coffee and coffee machine.

The hair drier didn’t function properly, it should be replaced. The apartment had a strange vinegar smell when we arrived.

All of it! I missed the WhatsApp message and called Timo - on May Day 🤦🏽‍♂️ - and he got us in, very helpful and friendly. The apartment itself was spotless, in an awesome location, and we had a perfect night's sleep. We WILL be using City Apartments again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Comfortable apartment

We stayed in Jyväskylä on the way from Hiking in Leivonmäki National Park. Apartment was comfortable, clean and well located. Was great to rest after active day in sauna and sleep on comfortable bed. Host was polite and provided details information upon arrive. Highly recommend.

Lovely and big apartment with sauna in the middle of city centre.

Very friendly and helpful owner, big and fresh apartment with sauna, very clean, comfy twin beds. Apartment had everything one would need for a holiday (ie. kitchen equipments). Parking is very close and free during the evening and night. Right in the city centre.

Nice quiet spacy apartment right in the center

Spacious and quiet apartment, well equipped, great location right in the center close to restaurants, bars and other services, easy parking (for a fee) right next door, pet friendly, sauna, great value, I will definitely consider going back next time.

It was not clearly mentioned before reserving that cleaning is not included. It was not a big deal (I kind of expected that after reading other reviews) but it still should be mentioned in advance. Excellent location for restaurants and services, however when taking the dog out you have to walk a little bit to find a green area (not too far though).

Excellent location, very comfortable stay in a peaceful city

Superb location. Very easy to walk from the train station and to access the city. Spacious with full kitchen which made cooking very easy. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores. WiFi worked perfectly well. Sauna was amazing! I would love to stay here again. I was very comfortable and felt at home. Thank you to the host for responding and trying to assist me as borders closed unexpectedly during the coronavirus pandemic.

Had to follow up a bit to get the code for accessing the key, but once I had this it was very easy. Also this was amid the peak of coronavirus panic so the host was understandably busy in this time and perhaps this was an anomaly. Had issues with both the dishwasher and the laundry machine, but again this could be my own user error.

Viihtyisä asunto loistavalla sijainnilla. Asunnosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava lyhyeen majoitukseen. Kuvat vastasivat todellisuutta. Majoittaja antoi selkeät ohjeet paikalle saapumiseen.

Baarien meteli kantautuu jonkin verran sisälle, mutta tämä oli sijainnin vuoksi toki tiedossa jo varausta tehdessä.

Täyden kympin kämpästä tuli vitosen arvoinen ilmastoinnin puutteen takia.

Huoneisto oli siisti, viihtyisä ”lomakoti” ja sijainti erinomainen. Huoneistossa oli kaikki tarvittava pidempäänkin oleskeluun. Viileämmällä säällä (tai jos olisi ollut ilmastointi) olisimme ehdottomasti jääneet pidempäänkin kuin yhdeksi yöksi.

Huoneistossa oli tukalan kuuma koko oleskelumme ajan, koska sieltä puuttui ilmastointi ja ulkona sattui olemaan hellesää. Huoneistossa olevat tuulettimet eivät auttaneet yhtään viilentämään ilmaa. Ikkunoiden avaaminenkaan ei auttanut, koska aurinko paistoi koko ajan. Yö meni valvoessa ja hikoillessa.

Hiljainen ja rauhallinen majapaikka vaikka olikin ihan keskustassa. Huoneisto oli ylimmässä kerroksessa, omasta saunasta iso plussa. Yhteydenpito majoittajan kanssa oli sujuvaa.

Huoneisto oli aika lämmin, mutta viilennystä sai kun ikkkunat pystyi aukaisemaan sekä olo- että makuuhuoneesta.

Tämä on sitä mitä majoituksesta hakee. Sujuva yhteydenpito, siisti ja iso saunallinen asunto aivan keskustassa. Asuntoon pääsi hyvissä ajoin. Ei mitään erikoisia sovelluksia, avain oli lokerikossa ulko-oven vieressä, ja sillä aukesi sekä ulko-ovi että huoneiston ovi. Jätteiden keräyspiste oli nurkalla. Tänne voi mennä toistekin, suosittelen.

Sauna oli hyvä, mutta kiukaassa vain muutama kivi. Vastukset hehkuivat punaisina, mikä näytti hurjalle.
