Footprint Luxe - A Boutique Hostel Near Lake Pichola

I majorly liked the full privacy, lighting and spacious bed and room in itself. Beds were fully covered and pretty clean, decent luggage space and even spacious room to chill outside bed. Fan and light inside the bed was working n good condition. You really do get what you see in the pics as for the bed and stay. I c usually take pics but unfortunately missed to take pics this time. Chill area and game options were add on. I would definitely give a big shout out to Mukesh who was very handy and helpful with any sort of assistance. It’s not much far from the city but at the same time away from the bustling city noises too. I visited during navratri and one of the biggest navratri ground celebration - udr was just around the corner which was huge plus for me.

I feel the property is overall value for money but can get a bit better with bathroom maintanance- water was clogging and one washroom for shower is a challenge when it’s 10 bed dorm though they did as a spare washroom outside for sanitary purpose. A handwash in the washroom and a stand to keep sanitary stuffs for individuals would go long way. I and my sister faced no Internet connection in our respective beds which they tried to sort but unfortunately was the same so I definitely hope they are able to fix that. While the room is spacious and has a sofa which is great but some rules like no chit chatting inside the dorm would be good as it was quite a disturbance couple of times in my one day stay which again Mukesh was handsome and helped communicating and sorting. Lastly ac remote would be great as fixed temperature at 22 gets bit too cold and and inconvenient for eve try one to either just keep it on or off. Lastly I wished I was told the breakfast timing at checking so I would hv not missed it 😊

Dorm was clean and really spacious. AC during the night. Guys working there were really nice even let me check in a bit earlier. Once my laundry was done one of them took me on motorbike to go and pick it up :) For me location was great it was 20 minutes walk from old city. Also it was away from the main street so it was quiet. There are some restaurants and shops around. There also cafe on the rooftop.

WiFi didn’t work in a dorm that I stayed but I forgot to mention it so maybe there’s a way to fix it :)

the stay was exceptionally good and comfortable

Extremely noisey. Shower not cleaned. Party going all night. Horns blasting all the time. Cleaning truck parked outside the window at 5am after Holi festival and played loud music to get everyone up to help clean and we only had been asleep 1 hour due to party upstairs. The extremely loud constant noise just made it horrible. Also usually just get asked for passport upon arrive but after - huge travel day they made us fill out all these forms more than what we needed to get the indian visa??? Seriously! It was not necessary!
