Cozy cabin on the Olympic Peninsula, Hot Tub

I really enjoyed the backyard and the back porch. The fire pit, hot tub, and landscaped area in the back of the house was an oasis.

The back porch needed a little TLC to rid it of debris and cobwebs on the furniture. The light in the closet did not work.

A cozy bungalow with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub a perfect ending to a day spent in the park. It is in a quiet area. The hosts were attentive and easy to work with.

Fenced yard, fully stocked kitchen, washer dryer.

Significant mold in the shower bath, small bed, lack of air movement in the bedroom even with the window open.

We really enjoyed the outdoor space in the backyard with the fire pit & back porch area. Great way to relax after a long day of hiking or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. We loved how close the property was to Olympic National Park, really convenient to drive to & from all the trailheads & attractions.

Our overall stay at the cabin was disappointing. When we arrived our first night of a four night stay, we came across a mouse in the kitchen with evidence of droppings in the sink cabinet. Upon further inspection of the cabin, we noticed some more droppings here & there in little corners where it seems the vacuum couldn’t reach. In addition, there were droppings found on the mattress of the pull out couch. We immediately contacted the host & they were very responsive & helpful. We agreed to stay for the rest of our stay due to a communication with the host about a refund but our overall stay in the cabin was deeply impacted by this. We ended up having to all 3 squeeze into the master bed. It looked like the cabin needed a very deep clean to reset everything. The hosts came during our stay to vacuum the droppings & set mouse traps but the situation needs more attention. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host but felt a little cheated when the refund they had offered on the first night of our stay ended up only being about a quarter of our overall total. Communication between them during this could have been more clear but we were very understanding. The cabin itself had a musty smell that was solved by lighting some candles. The hot tub was also a big disappointment, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. It had a film building on the water line.
