About this cabin rental
Unwind in the heart of the Pacific Northwest at Cedar Hollow Hideaway, a pristine, deeply peaceful guest cabin nestled on a rural 3-acre property in the woods, just 8 miles from Olympic National Park.
More than just a place to sleep after a long day of exploring—this is a destination in its own right, designed to be a memorable, restorative part of your adventure. The number one piece of feedback we hear from our guests is that they wish they had booked a longer stay just to spend more time relaxing right here on the property.
After 1.5 years of running a consistently booked calendar on Airbnb—where we proudly maintain a 100% five-star rating across 80+ glowing guest reviews—we are thrilled to open up dates to the VRBO community.
THE ULTIMATE OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK BASECAMP
Location is everything when exploring the Peninsula, and Cedar Hollow offers centralized access to the region's crown jewels. You are just a short drive from the downtown waterfront of Port Angeles and a mere 15 minutes from the main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center and park entrance. Whether you are heading up to the alpine meadows of Hurricane Ridge, launching a paddleboard on Lake Crescent, or taking a day trip to the Hoh Rainforest, they are all accessible from here.
A TRUE SANCTUARY: SECLUDED YET SUPPORTED
Our property offers the perfect balance of rural seclusion and natural beauty, while still being highly accessible:
-Property Layout: The main home and the guest cabin occupy the front 1.5 acres of the property. Your hosts live on-site in the main home, which is tucked away behind a dense canopy of trees at the top of the hill behind the cabin, accessed by a separate driveway. You enjoy absolute autonomy.
-The Flower Farm Vibe: Staying here means experiencing the magic of living on an active dahlia farm! Guests can enjoy our beautiful, serene gardens—during peak season (Jul – Oct), you are welcome to coordinate with us to wander the peaceful paths, pick fresh, sun-ripened berries, or cut your own vibrant blooms to build a custom bouquet. To welcome guests, we also love stocking the cabin with a fresh, hand-cut arrangement of our seasonal flowers.
-Privacy First: While the garden runs alongside the driveway, a large, solid privacy fence sits directly between the garden and the cabin to ensure your immediate outdoor living space remains completely private. Because we maintain these grounds ourselves, you may occasionally see us working in the soil. Feel free to say hello, or completely ignore us and enjoy your solitude. We are exceptionally responsive via text/app, but otherwise will completely leave you to enjoy your stay.
Whether you are sipping coffee from the deck’s hammock chairs as deer roam past, playing yard games on the lawn, or roasting s’mores around the fire pit with your four-legged companion, Cedar Hollow Hideaway provides a deeply rejuvenating, unforgettable haven.

GUEST RULES & ADDITIONAL NOTES
-Wildlife Caution: Because this is a rural setting bordering forest and wilderness, please be aware of our local fauna. Neighbors have occasionally spotted black bears, cougars, and bobcats in the surrounding forested area (though not directly on our immediate property). Wood ticks are also present in the brush. We recommend keeping a close eye on your dogs and doing a quick tick check after hiking!
-Responsible Dog-Friendly Boundaries: We love hosting dogs! The cabin features everything you need to make traveling with your pup easy, including dog blankets/towels, extra poop bags, a water bowl, and toys. We ask that you cover furniture with provided dog blankets to reduce fur, monitor your dogs at all times (even within the secure fenced yard), never leave them unattended on the property, and use the provided poop bags.
-Cozy & Responsible Fire Pit Usage: For safety, all fires must be kept to a reasonable, safe size, actively attended by an adult at all times, and fully extinguished with water before you turn in. Outdoor fire usage is strictly subject to seasonal Clallam County burn bans (typically during the dry late-summer months).
