The place was perfectly clean and gets lots of natural light. Decent balcony and braai with a great view.

Shanty's Rest is a separate accommodation on the first floor with views of the river and marina, albeit slightly between houses. The hosts were great, welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. The accommodation was modern, comfortable and very clean. We had a very peaceful stay with only the occasional bird calls in the background. The island neighbourhood was very peaceful with exceptional bird life.
There was not much to dislike. We arrived on a hot day and the accommodation was a little warm, but that was soon solved with a fan.

Wonderfull view of the berg river,when sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and listening to the birds on the river.
