The Old Stable, Rustic Charm Modern Comforts

The property was lovely and spotlessly clean. It was even better than it looked in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the property was very well equipped.

Nicely presented, modern, and clean accommodation. Lovely fluffy white towels and comfortable bed We only stayed 1 night attending a family party in Chatteris - the gardens and patio area were lovely. It was very peaceful. Coffee pods & various individually wrapped tea bags were available.

Given that the property is in the middle of nowhere , it would have been helpful to have more than 2 tiny pots of milk in the fridge and maybe some biscuits for the weary traveller. We both like a hot drink in the evening and in the morning but we couldn't in the morning because we'd already used the two tiny pots For those travelling light/staying one night, there is no shower/ hand-wash in the bathroom

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Old Stable. From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care had gone into the place — spotless from top to bottom, with a lovely little welcome hamper waiting for us that was such a thoughtful touch after the drive. The setting is gorgeous — tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it felt like a proper escape, peaceful and private with lovely views all around. Inside, everything was comfortable and cosy, the kind of place where you can properly unwind. The hosts made the stay even better — warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed anything, without ever being intrusive. It’s that combination of a beautiful, secluded setting with such caring hosts that made the trip so special. We’d return in a heartbeat and recommend The Old Stable to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and truly welcoming escape.

Spacious modern accommodation with lovely garden and mini bar provided as a bonus. Massive tv with loads of channels and apps. Clear communication about check in and how to find the place. Useful info about things to do locally. We didn’t explore area locally but it was reasonable distance to Old Hunstanton beach. Perfect for get away weekend. Definitely will be back again!
