Old Orchard Beach is a cute little beach town and this rental is close to it all. The very pretty beach is just a short walk away. The updates that have been made to this rental make it very nice. It is definitely small and those stairs are steep but we still had room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens). The only things we didn’t love are the tiny shower and the fact that one bedroom is really a loft because it’s at the top of the stairs in an open space without its own door. So it’s really a one bedroom and then a loft (open) bedroom. But the main thing we weren’t prepared for was the train literally right behind the building. If it only came through during the day, it would be fine. But when it comes through at 4am, you know it! Scared me to death the first night. Other than the train, it really is a very nice little rental.

We enjoyed our stay! Being able to touch base and get answers quickly is greatly appreciated.Nice comfortable beds, full size kitchen with dishes and a few necessary supplies to prepare an easy quick meal was great for us. Being able to park for free and walk across the road to the beach or over to the main street to buy souvenirs, get a bite to eat, or enjoy the carnival rides was priceless.Being at OOB was central to vising other areas when the weather wasn't conducive to habging out at the beach was very nice. We were able to explore in Portland and Bangor.What a beautiful stay and place to visit.
