Luxury 2 bed 2 bath in Time Squeare

We were welcomed by the host who guided us into the condo. Fabulous location close to everything. Two bedrooms and 2 full baths made an enjoyable stay for the three of us. There was a market downstairs and around the corner for snacks, ready made meals, wine and more. There was also a great diner there with a terrific breakfast.

37th floor, Whole Foods across the street, subway station next door, most theaters 4 or 5 blocks away, good local restaurants within a few blocks, Central Park 1 or 2 stops away- really nice location. Nice big rooms, plenty of hot water, good beds. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again.

The physical space was gorgeous, immaculate, had stunning views, and was exactly as advertised! When we asked for extra items, they were accommodated quickly. The check-in process, however, was awkward: we were instructed to meet a guy the next block over in front of a grocery store. It felt shady and was awkward with my 2 young teens in tow. The guy then took us in a back door to the apartment complex, and led us through a labyrinth of delivery entrances to the elevator. He personally took us up the elevator and showed us into the apartment, and gave us a brief tour, which culminated in a very specific request that if the front desk questions us, that we tell them we are friends of “T – – – – – “ (a guy’s name). I’ve heard this in places like NYC, but still it left me feeling like a criminal every time I came and went, and yes we were stopped by the front desk and questioned. I’m not good at lying, so I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. Given how much I paid, it felt like I shouldn’t have to sneak around for the sake of the Host, who presumably is skirting some rule to rent the place. If you love Broadway shows though, this place is for you, as there’s one directly across the street and all within short block walks.
