Dogtown is a wonderful neighborhood within the city of St. Louis! My home is located within walking distance to Forest Park, and specifically the Saint Louis Zoo, voted the best free attraction in the US! Also within walking distance (about 1 minute) from many restaurants and pubs.
Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car, with most highways nearby. You can also use the Metro link light rail system to access many major attractions.
St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

Wonderful small home in a quiet well kept neighborhood. Centrally located, only 15 minutes to downtown, with a few local restaurants nearby. The company was very responsive and replied to messages within the hour.

This is a very cute house with a nice floorplan in a great neighborhood. It is walking distance to Forest Park, and has easy access to the major St. Louis highways. The kitchen and eat-in area of the house made cooking and being with family a lot of fun! It was pretty well stocked for those who like to cook. So, my overall impression of the house/location/accomodations was positive, however, I had concerns with some details. While the management company was very responsive, I do feel that this house could use some attention to detail...The walls/woodwork need cleaning & painting (there was water stain behind one of the beds). The windows in the dining area open (which is wonderful on nice days), but the windown tracks were very dirty. The rug in the living room is a nasty shag that did not appear to be very clean or even vacuumed (as was the rug in the bathroom). The washer & dryer in the basement are a nice convenience, but the basement is full of lots of junk piled up in the corner. This house must have had some water damage at some point, since there is a musty smell throughout the house & basement. The carbon monoxide monitor had no batteries. We did love the location and the floor plan, and the management company was very responsive, which we appreciated, but we would not stay here again.
